A student-centered arts advocacy organization, Creative Campus is dedicated to building relationships that will serve as a voice for the cultural arts. The interns at Creative Campus — forty students with various majors and personal backgrounds — are constantly working with students, faculty and community members in order to engage The University of Alabama and Tuscaloosa with innovative ideas.
University of Alabama students are committed to service: In the 2014-2015 academic year, 26,000 UA students participated in more than 1 million hours of community service.
The University of Alabama is committed to providing all of its students with a comprehensive educational experience. There are numerous educational and social benefits for first year students living in the residence halls that may not be realized by those living off campus.
With this understanding, UA requires all first year students to live on campus except for those who live with parent(s)/guardian(s) or those who have compelling individual circumstances. Fortunately, we have a great selection of residence halls and a range of convenient dining options right here on campus.
Over the years, UA has won national championships in football, women's golf, men's golf, gymnastics and softball. You can keep up with the Crimson Tide at rolltide.com. If you want to be more than a spectator, we have a vibrant intramural sports program and one of the best student recreation centers in the nation.
